Scarborough Talking News Trustees, Mary Grunwell (Chairman) and Gill Steel (Listener Representative) were delighted to visit Age UK in March to receive £1,500 funding towards much needed updating of our recording equipment.
The successful bid was made to SeeCHANGE Scarborough, an innovative, cross-sector partnership funded by the National Lottery for three years to help realise a healthier Scarborough.
Bex Blakey, SeeCHANGE Community Engagement Officer, handed over funds that will enable Scarborough Talking News to install a new mixing desk, complete with new microphones, a crucial bit of kit when creating quality radio broadcasts!
Thank you, SeeCHANGE!
